TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama’s School
of Music will host the U.S. Air Force Reserve Concert Band on
Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Moody Music Building Concert
Hall.
The Air Force Reserve Concert Band is a 45-member, full-time professional

year performing some 500 concerts. Their repertoire includes classical
overtures, Sousa marches, Broadway show tunes and popular music
favorites.
The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve has repeatedly represented
America in the international arena. In May 1992, the band became

All members of the Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve are full-time

Reserve recruiting and community relations objectives.
Admission to the concert is free and open to the public. The concert
is sponsored by the School of Music, The College of Arts and Sciences
