TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama Women’s Resource Center will sponsor the Women’s Empowerment Conference on March 19-20.

The event will feature motivational speakers, workshops on personal and professional empowerment of women and networking opportunities. The conference will open with a dinner and keynote speaker on Friday night and will continue all day on Saturday.

The Women’s Resource Center will select 50 undergraduate and graduate female students to participate in the Women’s Empowerment Conference.

In order to be considered for selection, each student must fill out an application and submit it to the UA Women’s Resource Center by Monday, Feb. 23. Those chosen will be notified by March 1. Applications can be found online at http://wrc.ua.edu.
