TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Mary Margaret Carroll of Ozark was elected
president of the Student Government
Association at The University of Alabama for the 2005-2006
term.
Some 4,649 total votes were cast in the election that was held
March 8-9. A runoff election for several SGA Senate seats will
be held March 18.
Carroll received 2,571 votes to defeat William “Zac” Riddle
of Trussville who received 2,005 votes.
