| UA to Hold Premier Awards Convocation Nov. 2 |

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama will hold an informational
convocation on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Ferguson Center
Heritage Room to familiarize students with the UA Premier Awards,
the top honors presented annually at the University.
Any student, faculty member, staff member or campus organization may encourage students to apply, or may submit for non-student award nominations supported by letters and other materials describing the nominees’ qualifications. Individuals who believe they are qualified are also encouraged to apply. The Premier Awards include the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, the William P. Bloom Award, the John Fraser Ramsey Award, and the Morris Lehman Mayer Award. A detailed description of each award can be found at http://www.premierawards.ua.edu. Completed applications should be returned by the deadline, Friday, Dec. 2, at noon to the UA Office of the Dean of Students, 231 Ferguson Center. |
