TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Tuscaloosa will come alive with the sounds of India at the “Fascinating Winds and Scintillating Strings South Indian Flute and North Indian Sitar Jugalbandhi” concert on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. in the Ferguson Theater at The University of Alabama.

The concert will feature flutist V.K. Raman and sitar player Dr. Kakali Bandyopadhyay, internationally acclaimed musicians.

The event will kick off International Education Week at UA and is sponsored by Creative Campus, the School of Music, Office of Community Affairs, Capstone International Center and New College.

The UA Creative Campus, Creative Community Initiative is an unprecedented student group that focuses on broadening the scope and deepening the experience of the arts and cultural opportunities on the UA campus and in the Tuscaloosa community.
