UA Student Group to Host Golf Tournament at Hidden Meadows Course

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama Hotel and Restaurant and Convention Association student chapter is hosting a golf tournament at Hidden Meadows Golf Course on Friday, May 4.

Proceeds from the tournament will donated to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital affiliate in Huntsville. Plans are being made to make this an annual event.

A $35 per person entry fee includes green and cart fees, range balls, lunch and door. The four-man scramble tournament begins at noon. Grand prize winners will receive a free Sandestin Golf Trip. Other great prizes will be given to second and third place.

HARACA is an organization geared towards students majoring in restaurant, hotel and meetings management. However, membership is open to all students interested in pursuing a career in the hospitality industry.
