TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama Junior Panhellenic Association is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, April 1 from 1-3 p.m. on the UA President's Mansion lawn.
The event -- open to children age 10 and under -- is free of charge and will have a surprise visit by the Easter Bunny.
Junior Panhellenic is a freshman philanthropic group that serves as the understudies of the Alabama Panhellenic Association delegates. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is one of the main community service projects that they coordinate during the spring semester at UA.
The University of Alabama, a student-centered research university, is in the midst of a planned, steady enrollment growth with a goal of reaching 28,000 students by 2010. This growth, which is positively impacting the campus and the state's economy, is in keeping with UA's vision to be the university of choice for the best and brightest students.
