Time for Holiday Cheer -- Circle K Students to Host Luminaries on the UA Quad

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – In an annual event that helps others while getting the community in the holiday spirit, The University of Alabama chapter of Circle K will host its Luminaries on the Quad on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 5-8 pm.

This year, the luminaries will line the path from Denny Chimes to Gorgas Library. Circle K members will be serving hot chocolate to attendees while holiday music rings from Denny Chimes.

This event is held to raise money for gifts to be given to the residents of the W.D. Partlow Developmental Center. Donations will be accepted at the event.

Circle K is a national service organization for college students sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.

For more information on the holiday luminary event or the Circle K organization, contact Robby Gray, UA Circle K president, at ragray@bama.ua.edu.
