TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Students, faculty and staff at The University of Alabama are being invited to sign a large, poster-size Veterans Day greeting card to be presented to area veterans in commemoration of the November holiday.

Participants are invited to sign the card now through Nov. 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Veterans Day Table in the Ferguson Center. The card, prepared by the UA Crossroads Community Center, will be presented to patients at the Tuscaloosa VA Hospital.

Veterans Day, set for Sunday, Nov. 11 this year, is observed in many nations as a day to pause and honor those who offered their service and sacrifice. The campus community is invited to participate in this cultural opportunity to highlight the contributions of veterans.
