UA Law School to Present Supreme Court Preview

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama Law School will present a U.S. Supreme Court Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. in the Bedsole Moot Courtroom of the Law School.

The preview will highlight several of the most significant cases scheduled or expected to be heard by the high court in the 2007-2008 session that begins Oct. 1.

Law professors Paul Horwitz, Kenneth Rosen, Ronald Krotoszynski, Pamela Bucy, Daniel Joyner and Meredith Render will discuss these cases in the context of the current court and recent trends in the law.

The presentation will be introduced by John Neiman, an attorney with Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP. Neiman was a law clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy from 2001-2002.

The event is open to the public. Time for questions and answers will be allowed.
