UA Fraternity Presidents, IFC Board Announced

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A group of students at The University of Alabama has been chosen to be presidents of their fraternities or members of the UA Interfraternity Council executive board for the current school year.

The following students were elected president of their fraternities:

Sam Shuttlesworth of Mobile, Delta Chi

Charlie Dennis of Mobile, Delta Kappa Epsilon

Tim Miller of Jacksonville, Fla., Delta Tau Delta

Bonner Williams of Monroeville, Kappa Alpha Order

Jimmy Thigpen of Red Bay, Kappa Sigma

Jess Mann of Guntersville, Lambda Chi Alpha

Daniel Weaver of Huntsville, Lambda Sigma Phi

Stephen McKinnell of Mobile, Phi Delta Theta

Nathan McMullin of Montgomery, Phi Gamma Delta

Aubrey Richardson of South Brunswick, N.J., Phi Kappa Psi

The following students were elected by the member fraternities of the IFC to serve as the executive board. The IFC oversees all fraternity activity on campus and seeks to provide programming to better each chapter. The executive board members include:

Bart Siniard of Huntsville, a member of Kappa Alpha Order -- president

Patrick McCarroll of Tuscaloosa, a member of Pi Kappa Phi -- executive vice president

Joseph Siegelman of Birmingham, a member of Phi Gamma Delta -- vice president of judicial

Rob Sabin of Marietta, Ga., a member of Kappa Sigma -- vice president of recruitment

Jake Burchfield of Birmingham, a member of Lambda Chi Alpha -- treasurer

Nick Blanchard of Mobile, a member of Phi Delta Theta -- public relations chair

Josh Cirulnick of Atlanta, a member of Beta Theta Pi – secretary
