New Panhellenic Executive Officers and Sorority Presidents Elected at UA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The new executive officers of the University of Alabama National Panhellenic Conference recently started their 2008 terms in office.

The following are the new officers, their positions, hometowns and majors:

President -- Erin Cornelius, an English major from Mt. Olive

Vice President of Administration -- Whitney Kupferer, an advertising/public relations major from Albuquerque, N.M.

Director of Educational Programming -- Collier Broadaway, a fashion retail major from Opelika

Secretary/Treasurer -- Caroline Crow, a nutrition major from Mountain Brook

Director of Public Relations -- Ashley Kalifeh, a journalism major from Mobile

Assistant Director of Recruitment -- Christina Arnone, an advertising major from Alabaster

Director of Judicial Affairs -- Maria Kevehazi, an education major from St. Louis, Mo.

Assistant Director of Judicial Affairs -- Catherine Emens, an English and Spanish major from Tuscaloosa

In addition, the following sororities at UA have selected presidents for 2008 and they include:

Alpha Chi Omega – Anna-Wesley Dorsett, a civil and environmental engineering major from Roswell, Ga.

Alpha Delta Pi -- Sara Keeney, a nursing major from Hoover

Alpha Gamma Delta -- Katie McMurray, a biological sciences and general business administration major from Charlotte, N.C.

Alpha Kappa Alpha -- Phillips Thomas, a junior majoring in international studies from Anniston

Alpha Omicron Pi -- Brandi Morgan, a political science and English major from Mobile

Chi Omega -- Caroline Sarratt, a healthcare management major from Florence

Delta Delta Delta -- Ashley Aitken, a restaurant and hospitality management major from Tuscaloosa

Delta Zeta – Patty-Ann Green, a communication studies major from Columbus, Miss.

Gamma Phi Beta -- Amber Murphy, an English major from Searcy, Ariz.

Kappa Alpha Theta -- Martha Griffith, a history and public relations major from Spanish Fort

Kappa Delta -- Louise Crow, an advertising/public relations and management major from Mobile

Kappa Kappa Gamma -- Louise Acomb, a healthcare management major from New Orleans

Phi Mu -- Caitlin Sims, a finance major from Charlottesville, Va.

Pi Beta Phi -- Allison Crawford, a marketing major from Alpharetta, Ga.

Sigma Delta Tau -- Lindsey Davis, a healthcare management major from Eclectic

Zeta Tau Alpha -- Ashley Harrod, a marketing and Spanish major from Vestavia Hills
