Additional RV parking to be available in Northport

The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority was to open 100 additional RV parking spaces today at the Ray C. Jenkins Multipurpose Facility in Munny Sokol Park. 'These may be the only RV parking spaces available in close proximity to the University of Alabama campus,' says Debbie Wilson, RV coordinator. 'We have already been receiving phone calls and reservations for this weekend,' she said. The parking is at Sokol Park, 6075 Watermelon Road, Northport. It is about five miles from the University of Alabama campus. No shuttle service is offered…
