Monday's opening of the new Rise School of Stillwater was a dream come true for Mary Gonzales. She and husband Jimmy Gonzales, Oklahoma State University's director of football operations, have a daughter, Mya, who has Down syndrome…The facility, only the seventh Rise School in the country, places children with developmental disabilities in the same classroom with typically developing children…The Rise School, which is part of the OSU College of Human Environmental Sciences, is modeled after the original Rise School of Tuscaloosa, which was founded in 1974 and is part of the University of Alabama, Hilbert said…
