SGA sponsors Art in the Garden event with SPIRIT campaign

…some students experienced an artistic and legendary part of Tuscaloosa Monday, when Jack Warner, Tuscaloosa resident and world-renowned art collector, opened his home for Art in the Garden, an event sponsored by the SGA and SPIRIT campaign…Students who attended the event were able to donate to the SPIRIT campaign upon entering Warner's home by swiping their ACTion cards. The SPIRIT campaign is a scholarship fund for first-generation college students at the University. The money for the scholarships is collected from UA students.

Students discuss ways to respond to terrorism

…the Capstone's international relations club is teaming up with Our Voices Together to host the "Safer, More Compassionate World Forum," on Wednesday in 30 ten Hoor Hall at 7:30 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to find out what they can do to get involved with Our Voices Together and respond to terrorism through positive outreach.
..The speakers for the "Safer, More Compassionate World Forum," will be Cecelia Snyder of Our Voices Together, Bettina Byrd-Giles of Campus Activities and Adam Meyer of the University Honors Program.
