TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The University of Alabama will be hosting a
number of campus events during African American Heritage Month in
February.
Civil Rights Movement Freedom Riders Hezekiah Watkins and Fred
Douglas Clark will be guest speakers at the UA School of Social
Works 14th Annual African American Heritage Month Colloquium.
Watkins and Clark will speak from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, in
223 Little Hall. An excerpt from the PBS series Eyes on the
Prize will be shown before the talk from noon-1 p.m. in 104
Little Hall.
